To be part of Calvario City Church means to be known and cared for.

Calvario City Church is a large church and sometimes it can be a challenge to meet and get to know others – to feel like you’re a part of a loving and growing community. For this reason, we have created intentional opportunities where you can develop meaningful relationships and “do” life with others at Calvario City Church.
Where to begin:

Join a Community Group. There is no better place to know others and be known and cared for than in Community Groups (If there is not a community group in your zip code, please contact our Education Department and we can help get one started in your area).
Find a team or ministry where you can regularly serve with others. CCC has over 60 ministries where you can serve. Serving brings hope to those who need help both in our church and in the city and also moves us to be more generous with our time, talents and treasure.
Join our School of Leadership or take Continuing Education courses on theology and life, and be in conversations with your brothers and sisters in Christ about what the Gospel means to you.

Membership

To be a member of a church is to make a public promise to live according to the Word and to support the work of a local congregation. In the Bible, this is called a Covenant. Membership in a church is not like membership in a social club or organization. Most organization members are consumers. The organization exists to serve them. The church of Christ is a completely different community. Membership means ministry and service, going from being a consumer to becoming a giver of God’s love and care to others. There are five (6) simple steps to join our family.

Community Groups

Community Groups

Calvario City Church Community Groups are the place where you are known and cared for at CCC.
Each group is comprised of 6-12 people and they meet in homes and different places throughout Central Florida and are led by trained lay leaders from the congregation who receive continued oversight and support from the pastoral staff.
Not only are these community groups a place where deep relationships are developed, each community group has a three-pronged goal: provide a loving place for healthy discipleship, offer pastoral care and bring others to the salvific knowledge of Christ.

Find a group near you.

If you are interested in starting a new group, please contact our Education Department.

Stages of Life Affinity Groups

In addition to Community Groups, a great way to connect to others at CCC is through groups and programs that relate to the stage of life you are in. Whether you are a single adult, engaged, married, a parent, or retired; there are places for you to connect with others who are at a similar age and or stage of life.
